CANON BUSINESS SOLUTIONS, NATIONAL LEADER IN DOCUMENT IMAGING SYSTEMS, OPENS NEW OFFICE IN HONOLULU, HI

Lake Success, N.Y., April 21,  2009 –To help better serve and support the growing document management needs of businesses in Hawaii, Canon Business Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., and a leader in document imaging systems, today announced the opening of a new sales and support office in Honolulu (Office Location: 210 Ward Avenue, Suite 201, Honolulu). 

“In 2008 we initiated plans to establish an office in Hawaii as part of our nationwide expansion program.  We have a base of Canon customers throughout the islands that can benefit from the presence of Canon’s direct sales subsidiary.  Today, we are proud to announce the opening of a new space worthy of the Canon name,” said Tod Pike, president, Canon Business Solutions, Inc.  “We have a full staff of sales and service professionals in place to support our current and future Canon customers in the Honolulu area with world class document management solutions and the outstanding service and support for which Canon Business Solutions is known.” 

Gerald Shioji, market director, will oversee the development of new business for those companies wishing to receive sales and service support from a Canon subsidiary. Shioji brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the area. He has held various positions in the document management industry over the last 17 years with Canon U.S.A. Shioji holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from the University of Oregon. “I’m excited that we are growing our business in the short time that we have established ourselves in the state of Hawaii. The new office space provides us with a showroom, as well as 
service and sales areas from which to base our business. We have a tremendously talented staff of sales and service professionals to support our current and future customers,” said Shioji.
