Lake Success, N.Y., April 23, 2009 –To help better serve and support the growing document management needs of businesses in the Richmond, Va., and Charlottesville, Va., areas, Canon Business Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., and a leader in document imaging systems, today announced the opening of a new sales and support office in Richmond (Office Location: 3901 Westerre Parkway, Suite 110, Richmond, Va. 23233).
“This expansion is part of a nationwide expansion program, and is an important step towards providing our current and future Canon customers in Richmond with world-class document management solutions and the outstanding service and support for which Canon Business Solutions is known,” said Tod Pike, president, Canon Business Solutions. “We are committed to offering to this marketplace not only great solutions but a solidly built infrastructure that will support our customers’ evolving needs to the fullest,” he added.
John Whitehead, sales manager, will oversee the development of new business for those companies wishing to receive sales and service support from a Canon subsidiary. Whitehead brings more than 23 years of industry experience to the Richmond area – his home town. He has held various positions in wholesale and retail operations within Canon U.S.A. and Canon Business Solutions, Inc. over the past 12 years. Whitehead holds a B.A. degree from the University of Virginia. “I’m excited that we are growing our business in the short time that we have established ourselves in this region. The new office space provides us with a showroom, as well as service and sales areas from which to base our business. We have a tremendously talented staff of experienced sales and service professionals to support our current and future customers,” Whitehead said.
The opening of the Richmond office is part of a continued expansion of Canon Business Solutions, Inc., based in Lake Success, N.Y. In addition to the new Richmond office, Canon Business Solutions, Inc. operates from 58 offices in 38 metropolitan areas across the country.
