Canon’s Digital Security Kit is an optional component designed to extend the security capabilities of imageRUNNER Series products. Through the use of the imageRUNNER Security Kit, security conscious customers can configure their imageRUNNER systems with the software necessary to overwrite the internal Image Server hard disk. It also erases previous data stored as part of routine job processing tasks in temporary memory. Additionally, a number of administrative options permit system administrators to set varying levels of overwrite protection. When combined with the standard security protection offered on base product and networked device implementations, the imageRUNNER Security Kit delivers the ultimate Canon solution for information protection.
