Canon’s Removable Drive Kit is an optional component designed to extend the security capabilities of imageRUNNER Series products. The Removable Drive Kit enables security officers to address object reuse by removing the imageRUNNER’s internal hard disk so that it can be stored in a secure location. Once removed, the imageRUNNER becomes inoperable until the drive is reinserted. By employing the Removable Drive Kit, security officers are assured that their organization’s sensitive information will not be compromised.
