MicroPress is a fast, high-performance raster-based digital document production system for mid-to-high-volume print-on-demand environments that produces complex, short-run, color and black and white documents.

The EFI MicroPress® for Canon maximizes productivity for print environments, ranging from corporate workgroups to high-volume, print-on-demand (POD) environments, and features advanced make-ready tools, maximum throughput, and unmatched quality in a scalable solution. 

There are three MicroPress server solutions available:

  • The MicroPress SX is tailored to fit the needs of organizations that have low- to mid-volume production output requirements, yet need the flexibility and functionality of a robust document production solution. It drives up to four Canon print devices simultaneously, at maximum speed, making the most of an organization’s equipment investment.
  • The MicroPress DX is a robust solution designed for organizations with mid- to high-volume production needs that want to take full advantage of up to four Canon print devices to achieve new levels of productivity. Featuring TrueCluster technology, it splits large jobs across multiple print devices for maximum throughput.
  • The MicroPress MX is designed for organizations that do mission-critical printing. Built with RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks), this powerful solution provides real-time data recovery with uninterrupted throughput, increased system uptime, and protection against data loss. It utilizes EFI TrueCluster technology, supporting up to 12 Canon print devices. With the MicroPress MX, users can be assured of a fully scalable solution that will grow along with their needs.
